Rotary is an international membership organization made up of people who share a passion for and commitment to enhancing communities and improving lives across the world.
Rotary clubs exist in almost every country. Our members change lives locally and connect with other clubs to work on international projects that address today’s most pressing challenges.
Over the past several years, our club has accomplished great things both locally and internationally. Here are some of the highlights:
- Seniors Patio and Skateboard Park at the Community Complex
- Millenium Park Pavillion (a commercial quality kitchen and covered picnic area)
- Rotary Clock in front of City Hall
- Annual Scholarships for High School, College and Online Learning students
- Participation with local programs such as the Castlegar Foodbank, Miss Castlegar and Sculpturewalk
- H.E.L.P Honduras, giving children in Honduras the opportunity to go to school
- Assisting with the elimination of Polio worldwide
